Some glasses don't need bold colours or oversized designs to make an impression. This week we're showcasing the effortlessly elegant Cartier CT0551S in gold – a frame that perfectly captures Cartier's signature blend of luxury and understated sophistication.

With its lightweight rimless construction, refined gold detailing and clean, minimalist design, the CT0551S is proof that less really can be more. Every element has been carefully considered, resulting in a frame that's timeless, incredibly comfortable to wear and unmistakably Cartier.

For this customer, we wanted to create something completely unique. We began by giving the lenses a bespoke custom shape, transforming the overall appearance while preserving the frame's elegant character. We then fitted premium ZEISS lenses, finished with a beautiful Sweet Violet gradient tint that adds a subtle touch of colour without overpowering the design.

To complete the look, we applied a Sapphire Flash coating, introducing a striking blue mirror finish that catches the light beautifully and creates a stunning contrast against the warm gold frame.

The finished result is a pair of glasses that perfectly balances craftsmanship, individuality and timeless style.
