Co-founder and designer Gai Gherardi said, “This is such an important time to be emphatic in our recognition and support of the spectrum of identities that Pride celebrates. The ‘amor’ in the name of our dedicated frame, Amortini, echoes our oft-repeated encouragement to ‘Love One Another.’” All sunglasses come with an exuberant rainbow print cleaning cloth made from recycled PET plastic bottles, a nod to the brands’ commitment to sustainability.
A percentage of the sales of these sunglass styles will be donated to the Los Angeles LGBT Center, a nonprofit organization that has been providing programs in health, social services and housing, culture and education, and leadership and advocacy for the LGBT community since 1969. In particular, the brands’ contributions will directly benefit the Senior Services programs of the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
